Heard spoke of the “monster” Depp could become when intoxicated. Let’s drown her before we burn her.” Depp v Heardĭepp said he had been sober for much of the relationship with Heard but had relapsed after getting clean from a prescription opioid addiction in 2014. In one instance, he was asked about a 2013 text exchange with the British actor Paul Bettany which included: “Let’s burn her. ![]() Messages sent by the star featured graphic insults of his ex-wife. “There had been a rainstorm and as I left the room I slid down the stairs and I hurt my back.”ĭepp, Moss said, “came running back to help me and carried me to my room and got me medical attention”. “He never pushed me, kicked me or threw me down any stairs,” she said. Her name had come up in testimony when Heard recalled a rumor about Depp pushing Moss down a flight of stairs in the 1990s. In the closing days of testimony, the supermodel made an appearance via video link. “Looking at the coercive control,” Hughes said, “the obsessive jealousy, the possessiveness, the sexual violence, the choking behavior, the threats to kill, those are all, as I stated, very significant and often found in cases of lethal domestic violence.”Ĭlinical and forensic psychologist Dawn Hughes on the witness stand. Dawn HughesĪ witness for Heard, clinical and forensic psychologist Hughes testified that the actor’s allegations of emotional and physical abuse were legitimate. Borderline personality disorder is a disease of instability, Dr Curry said, marked by “a lot of anger, cruelty toward people less powerful and attention seeking” and behaviors “driven by an underlying fear of abandonment”. The forensic psychologist told jurors she believed Heard suffered from borderline personality disorder and histrionic personality disorder. The couple, Anderson said, engaged in “mutual abuse”. She would rather be in a fight to keep him there.” “If he was going to leave her to de-escalate a fight, she would strike him to keep him there. “It was a point of pride to Heard, if she felt disrespected, to initiate a fight,” Anderson said.

![]() Quality, the condition of a coin, has always been important to collectors. Step 4: | Special Qualities Enhancing Value The Bullion/Collector Quality Divide Each series page covers grading in detail. □Above in Step 1, image and text links lead to series pages of in-depth coverage. Video | Grading Walking Liberty Half Dollars Videos, close-up images and descriptions help recognize the different grades. Judging condition to determine a grade is accomplished by comparing your coin to images of standards. A fairly strong rim and date is visible on the example, a pleasing coin, despite heavy wear. A Bust half in Good grade displays Liberty complete, with details along the rim beginning to fade. Minor detail is missing and major elements remain, but smooth. Good Grade: Flatness of the entire design to an outline form, places a half dollar in the Good grade. The Barber half dollar still displays major details, leaves of the wreath and headband are distinct, keeping its condition within standards for the grade. Loss of fine details plus large areas of flatness lowers the condition into the Fine grade range. In the example Seated half dollar image, only small portions of Liberty's face, arms, and gown show a smoothing and change in texture.įine Grade: Defining the Fine grade is visible wear covering the entire coin. Overall, light wear on the highest areas and not creating large smooth spots defines the Extremely Fine grade. Each series is unique as to the points to observe detecting amounts of wear. ![]() Mint State defines the coin remains with original surfaces without any removal of the fine texture of luster imparted at the time of minting.Įxtremely Fine Grade: High points to designs on coins are the first areas to show signs of wear. Mint State Grade: If no wear is detected on the surface of a half dollar a grade of Mint State is awarded. Among collectors and dealers these grades are used to define stages of wear and show on listings of value charts. ![]() Each stage of wear is noted by a "grade". Heavy wear from time in circulation is at the low end of the condition scale. A coin with no wear to the surface is as it left the mint. Levels of condition have a range depending on the amount of wear. Step 3: | Grading Condition | Half Dollar Values are ConditionalĬondition of your coin is the next important factor in determining half dollar value. Visit the series page for value charts and details on how to recognize mintmarks specific to each series. □Step 1 above are image links to match your coin. Each is listed separately on value charts. Generally, a mint marked half is the scarce coin of the year.Ĭollecting by year and mintmark combination is an important part in building a set of half dollars. Each mint striking different quantities and having different levels of scarcity. Often two to three different mints struck half dollars per year. "CC" Carson City and "D" is the mintmark identifying Denver. As part of the design on the reverse an "S" is the San Francisco mintmark. By the mid 1850's the San Francisco added coinage, followed by Carson City in 1870, and Denver in 1906.Įach branch mint used a mintmark on its coinage to indicate production from that mint. This added production and increased numbers per year and also created a separate collectible variety. New Orleans mint began striking halves for circulation in 1839. ![]() K (Potassium) – aids in the overall strength of stems and roots and resistance to disease.P (Phosphorus) – promotes development of strong healthy root system and setting of flower buds.N (Nitrogen) – stimulates lush green growth of leaves and new shoots and promotes dark green colour. ![]() Keep newly seeded areas moist.įertilize the lawn with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer: Top dress with compost or purchased soil such as a triple mix (loam, peat and well-rotted manure). If you missed seeding last September, or have bare patches, spring is the second-best time to seed a lawn. This improves the overall appearance of your lawn and helps to keep it from invading adjacent flower beds. Recutting the lawn’s edges in the spring will encourage a clean edge through the growing season. Rake the lawn to remove thatch, leaves and other debris. Spring is also the time to add slow release nutrients such as bone and bloodmeal or granular fertilizers. The soil in existing beds can be improved by top dressing with organic materials such as compost, shredded or composted leaves or well-rotted manure to existing beds. Mulch open soil areas using such materials as compost, shredded leaves, fine bark chips or straw to about 2 to 3 inches of thickness, to minimize the spread of weeds. Watch for “volunteers” of desirable plants. Look for the ones that were bothersome last year. They are easier to pull out when young and the soil is moist. Many weeds can be controlled during spring clean-up. Remove and store any tree wrap/guards and burlap that were used as winter protection. ![]() Do not remove more than 1/3 of the stems each year. This will allow sunlight into the middle of the plant and encourage new growth. To rejuvenate a mature or old shrub, remove a third of the oldest stems from the base of the plant every year for 3 years. If it flowers late in the season, (after mid-June), prune it early in the spring. If the shrub flowers in the spring, (before mid-June), prune it after it blooms. To shape, cut the longest, awkward stems back to just above an outward facing bud. Prune shrubs to remove dead, diseased and crossed branches. If needed, transplant existing shrubs before they leaf out in spring. Divide mature perennials and ornamental grasses, as needed or desired. Replant any perennials that have been heaved out of the soil exposing their roots e.g. Cut back ornamental grasses in early spring as new growth appears. Remove what’s left of last year’s top growth and seed heads. Soil from last year’s pots and planters can be used to top-dress beds, or added to the compost pile. AnnualsĬompost what is left of last year’s annuals. However, if you have shredded your leaves the previous fall, leaf mulch left on the beds will result in organic matter being added to the soil through decomposition. Clean beds by removing clumps of leaves by hand. Matted leaves can smother your emerging plants. It is recommended that you not attempt to complete all of this work in one day. Gardening in the spring can be very pleasurable. This gardening guide lists all of the activities related to cleaning garden beds and sprucing up the lawn. ![]() Many butterflies, pollinators and other beneficial insects overwinter in the dead leaves and hollowed out stems of last year’s plants, and it is important not to disturb them too early in the season. Spring clean-up is an annual event. We now know to resist the urge to clean up the garden until temperatures are consistently above 10 ☌ or 50 ☏. Pruning back ornamental grasses such as Miscanthus or maiden grass is tackled in spring, to make room for new, green growth. ![]() There are many ways to customize how your Microsoft Edge browser looks, feels, and behaves. The severity of the hazard rests partially in the high case fatality rate: 29 percent of cases cited in medical literature have been fatal. Other statistics on the frequency of agricultural NOx exposure are not available, but a number of deaths have been documented through the years. ![]() An unpublished survey in the late 1960's revealed that 4.2 percent of Wisconsin farm operators had developed symptoms of NOx inhalation when working in or near freshly filled silos. Lthough probably not common, the true scope of exposure to NOx is thought to be underestimated. The term, "silo filler’s disease," was established in 1956. This occurred when three men fell into a silo and were asphyxiated by a gas that was unknown at that time. The first recorded incidence of a death from SFD was in 1914. When farm workers enter the silo or are near its open hatches during the first 10 days after filling (without proper precautions), they may experience various degrees of silo filler’s disease. Hours after the organic material is stored, toxic and lethal levels of nitrogen dioxide, which is heavier than air, develop on top of the silage. It forms rapidly in farm silos that are filled with fresh organic material (e.g., corn, grains). Nitrogen dioxide is a reddish-brown gas that emits an odor similar to that of household bleach. Most symptomatic exposures are mild and self-limiting however, some cause sudden death from asphyxiation, pulmonary edema, or weeks later, bronchiolitis obliterans. More severe exposure can result in laryngeal spasm, bronchiolar spasm, reflex respiratory arrest, or asphyxia, leading to death. With an increase in concentration and duration, the exposed person additionally may experience cyanosis, vomiting, vertigo, and a loss of consciousness. Low concentrations of nitrogen dioxide cause cough, dyspnea, fatigue, and upper airway and ocular irritation. Methemoglobin results in a leftward shift of the oxygen disassociation curve, which impairs the oxygen delivery and compounds the already present hypoxia. Nitrogen dioxide binds to hemoglobin with great affinity, forming nitrosyl hemoglobin, which is readily oxidized to methemoglobin. Significant exposure can also result in methemoglobinemia. Inhalation of oxides of nitrogen (NOx) can cause sudden death, pulmonary edema, and/or bronchiolitis obliterans. ![]() Silo filler's disease (SFD) is an occupational pulmonary disease resulting from exposure to oxides of nitrogen. Plus, you can also play with four tracking generators and extra effects to take the ARP 2600 sound in your own direction with Arturia ARP 2600 V virtual synthesizer plug-in. It’s interesting that those were the three mentioned in the thread too.I'm new to this forum and not an expert, but I've started a YouTube tutorial series on the ARP 2600 V3. Here with the ARP 2600 V, you get a software version that adds capabilities the original never had, including MIDI control, polyphony, and the ability create/save/recall presets. I often recommend that new players check out those three synthesizers before investing in vintage hardware. Get the free templates from Creative Spiral and/or buy his excellent sound banks which give the Rev a more vintage quality. The Rev 2 is a great choice for live players for its light weight, great sound, great feeling keybed and generous polyphony while supporting splits and layers. Now, you have to replace the plugin in your projects and check if everything is okay. If you need a truly great analog synth that goes where none have gone before, get a Polybrute. I guess you should install the version 1.2 again which is actually ARP 2600 V and then you should save all your presets in a userbank, export it and import it into version 2.5.1 which is actually ARP 2600 V2. And V3 does not have a dedicated FX version. If you need a truly great digital synth that can go into analog territory, get the Hydrasynth. Don’t forget that the Hydrasynth is also about half the price of the Polybrute, while having a more substantial and expressive keyboard and a better ribbon. I would say out of the gate, the Rev 2 starts from a place with the most oomph but the other two can get there with the right programming. These TAE powered sounds offer unparalleled audio quality.
